So.....Consider this

How are you all doing?

I have been thinking about Job's wife recently. As you know my "filler" job is counselling until God releases me back into full time ministry.

Job 2:9 is relevant. I have been dealing with a few women who have lost so much in the Christchurch earthquake. They have become embittered, even those who know God seem to want to have nothing to do with Him and encourage those they care deeply for to "curse" God .

When will you allow your heart not to be turned from the joy of intimacy with Him? When will you stop berating the Lord for the "things" that you believe He has taken away from you?

When will you sit and rather hand your grief to Him, the lover of your soul.

Ponder today the events of your life, how you perceive them, how you present. Think of God and His great love for you, so much so that He gave His Son for ALL who would believe in Him.

God Bless you and I love youevery day !

Abuse ?

I know someone who is writing what will be an excelent expose on abuse in the church. The abuse she is talking about is the silent abuse that takes place in Christian homes and what is done about it in the church.

This got me thinking about other abuse in the church such as Pastors whose families go through so much that it borders on abuse. God never asked a man to sacrifice his family on the ministry alter! I was told a story of a ministry family that were given a manse, however the church office was in the bottom of their house so they constantly had no privacy! Come on this is not what Jesus paid the price for.

What about the way that parishioners abuse pastors and their families.......

Judgement comes first to the church.

It is time for us to change to allow ourselves be re-arranged, it is time for the bride of Christ to wash her robes, it is time for us to love each other as we love ourselves.

Is that not another point, how much do we love ourselves? Are we able to love others if we cannot love ourselves? Of course not!

Jesus paid a price that is incomprehnsible for our freedom, He loves you today and everyday, He is our desire, He is our purpose and He is our King.

You are so so loved!

Hugs and blessings
